Multiline Address Support
Many thanks to Mike Pegg at Google Maps Mania for pointing me to a little app created by Hanford Lemoore that lets you paste in a multiline address into a text area that will then be displayed on the map. Why is this important? Well most of the time we are presented with address information it is in the format:
999 Lombard St
San Francisco, CA 94133
So, currently, if you want to map that address on Google Maps you need to convert it to one line:
999 Lombard St, San Francisco, CA 94133
There's no reason you should have to do this. So for my part I made it so that you can paste the multiline address directly into the "Add By Address" box in CommunityWalk. This should make it a little easier to add locations by address.
Thanks Hanford for the idea.
