Create Your Own Icons!

This one has been a long time coming. You can now add your own icons to your CommunityWalk map. I've created a little example below, expressing my appreciation to Google for their mapping application, which CommunityWalk is built on.

(sorry, i'm not exactly a graphic designer...)

  • Some tutorials on the new functionality are on their way. In the meantime I encourage people to look around at the new stuff as there are some instructions on how to add your own icons.

You simply need to upload an image and then drag the icon and shadow the site produces around to show how they line up together in relation to one another and in relation to the map.

It sounds complex, but it is actually very simple. You realy should just try it out and see if you get stuck. I am always happy to answer any questions people have!
