Help Us Get The Word Out

Ok, we need some help.

We're trying to build a profitable company so that we can continue to offer high quality products like CommunityWalk and Wedding Mapper at great prices (or for free). We're not going to be able to achieve this goal unless we get the word out more, so we need your help.

In particular we are looking for help getting the word out about Wedding Mapper. The product is getting some rave reviews from those who use it, but we are struggling to get the word out to the larger audience of engaged couples out there.

All we ask is that you send an email to anyone you know that is getting married. More than likely they will be enormously appreciative becuase you just saved them from the hassle of figuring out to let all their guests know where to go for their wedding.

So let everyone you can know about Wedding Mapper (www.weddingmapper.com)!

We've got many other great products in mind that we'll be offering for free or at equally great prices, so please help us get this going!

  • Very cool. Now I want something related, but different: Business Trip Mapper. Whenever I go on a business trip, I find myself navigating between the local Starbucks (T-Mobile WiFi rocks), Kinkos, my hotel, and the client site or event venue. Sometimes I also need to map out additional event venues, like restaurants for dinner meetings.

I've cobbled together my own maps for this, but that's a pain. I tried Wedding Mapper for it, and it totally rocked...except Wedding Mapper assumes I'm having just one Wedding, so to plan another business trip, I'd have to blow away the first one.

Whadya say? Want to build Business Trip Mapper so it's just like Wedding Mapper only it lets me have multiple trips stored? (Oh, and it probably doesn't need the spiffy wedding cake icon.)

  • Elisabeth, have you tried using CommunityWalk for this? CommunityWalk is set up to better handle multiple maps. It has most of the same functionality and then some.

I'd love to hear whether or not CommunityWalk is a reasonable solution for you in this case.

  • Yup, that does it. The key thing I saw on WeddingMapper (that I forgot, or never realized that CommunityWalk could do) is the point-to-point directions. Silly me.

Thanks for reminding me! You've made my life a lot easier.

  • aprt expensive or complex systems, why not offering a way for a company to download a excel files (eg) and get them on the map with the informations related. If you offer this for a fee, it is really a good project, but don't forget to KISS! (Keep It Simple and Stypid) as few people (specialy old one..) love to spend time to learn How To...
